Reconstitution, six steps.

Mix gently, keep it clean, and refrigerate after reconstitution. The calculator handles the math; this page handles the technique.

Storage rule

After reconstitution, assume refrigerated storage unless the compound or supplier gives a different instruction. Date the vial when it is first mixed or punctured, keep it cold and clean, and discard it if sterility is questionable.

Check the vial

Make sure the powder (the dried cake) looks intact and the seal is not damaged. Work on a clean surface and wipe the rubber stoppers before anything touches them.

Find your water amount

Use the calculator to enter your vial and per-shot dose. It tells you how much bacteriostatic water to add so each draw lands on a clean U-100 syringe mark.

Draw the water

Pull that amount of bacteriostatic water into a new sterile syringe. Do not reuse syringes, and do not leave a needle parked in the vial stopper.

Add it slowly

Aim the water at the glass wall, not straight onto the powder. Press the plunger slowly so the water runs down the side instead of blasting the cake.

Swirl, don't shake

Gently roll or swirl until dissolved. Do not shake or foam the vial. GHK-Cu and copper blends turn blue here; that's the copper, not a problem.

Refrigerate and save

Put the mixed vial back in the refrigerator, then add it to your protocol. That timestamp starts the vial-supply clock for expiry, remaining doses, and reorder timing.

Common mistakes
Do not blast water onto the cake.
Do not shake instead of swirling.
Do not leave a reconstituted vial at room temp.
Do not eyeball the draw instead of solving the tick.
Do not reuse a syringe or leave a needle in the vial.
Do not keep a vial after contamination is possible.
